Head Over Heels is a contemporary romance novel by Jill Shalvis. This is the 3rd book in the Lucky Harbor series.

Breaking rules and breaking hearts. Free-spirited Chloe lives life on the edge. Unlike her soon-to-be married sisters, she isn’t ready to settle into a quiet life running their family’s newly renovated inn. But soon her love of trouble–and trouble with love-draws the attention of the very stern, very sexy sheriff who’d like nothing better than to tame her wild ways.
Suddenly Chloe can’t take a misstep without the sheriff hot on her heels. His rugged swagger and his enigmatic smile are enough to make a girl beg to be handcuffed. For the first time, instead of avoiding the law, Chloe dreams of surrender. Can this rebel find a way to keep the peace with the straitlaced sheriff? Or will Chloe’s colorful past keep her from a love that lasts . . . and the safe haven she truly wants in a town called Lucky Harbor?

Chloe is the youngest sister and is most like her mother. She’s a yoga loving, vegan is very much a free spirit who always seems to find herself in trouble.

Of course the last thing she needed was to be hassled from the local sheriff. Then again, they do say opposites attract and in this case, the attracted in explosive.

Although I personally liked Maddie’s story (book 1 in the series) better, most people seem to be drawn to Chloe. She’s a little wild and crazy and very irresponsible, at least compared to her other two sisters.

The last thing Chloe wants to do is settle down. But sometimes we don’t know what we need to be truly happy and that’s really what t his story is about.

Like before, my only complaint is that the e-book is incredibly overpriced. Despite the fact that this book came out almost 7 years ago, the e-book is actually higher than the cost of the hardcover.
