Cons

  • I can't think of a single bad thing to say about this book

Mr. Hollywood by Tracy Tegan is a story about a college student that met a Hollywood super star and it changed her life forever.

Allison Crawford is a nose-to-the-grindstone college student committed to getting her degree and staying out of trouble. Grayson Chase is a Hollywood bad boy committed to his career. Their worlds collide when Allison’s roommate talks her into signing on as an extra in a movie being filmed on campus.

When he meets the lovely college student, Grayson is immediately intrigued, but Allison has no interest in a life of celebrity. Sure, Chase is hot—okay, incredibly sexy—but he’s so not for her. So why can’t she get him out of her head? Grayson will do whatever it takes to make their relationship work, but the glare of the spotlight doesn’t make it easy. Will love be enough to glue their two worlds together?

Imagine what it would be like if you met a Hollywood super star and he started pursing you.  Think about what it would be like to run into someone famous like Ryan Reynolds or Zac Efron and then he uses his considerable charm and Hollywood power to get you to go out with him.

Well that’s what this book is about. A girl in college finds herself in an unusual situation that most girls would die to be in. She’s got her head on straight though and is focused on finishing school and that seems to make him want her even more.

Because the main character is a college student that puts the book in the new adult genre. I didn’t think I would normally like “new adult” books but honestly after reading this one, I can see myself reading more books in this sub-genre.
