Welcome to my romance book review blog. I’m an avid reader of all kinds of romance books and this blog is a place for me to talk about the various books I have read.
I have broken down reviews by the month that I wrote them and by the genre of the book. I read all sorts of romance novels including adult romance, new adult romance, young adult romance, contemporary romance and the list goes on and on.
I have defined my reviews by genre. For example the book Twilight, some people say it’s a Young Adult story and while that may be true, it’s also a love story at heart and that makes it also a romance novel. So it would go in the Young Adult Romance category. Fifty Shades of Grey is a love story that also includes some more graphic elements that you would normally find in the erotica book genre but because it’s also a love story, it’s also a romance, so I put it in the adult romance category. It’s a romance book but for adults.
New adult romance is a new category and is defined by Amazon (and other retailers) as a romance novel for those coming of age, as in the college age, typically 18 to 25-year-old’s or in some cases 18 to 21 (depending on who is giving the definition). Basically, they are romance novels about kids either in college or of college age. And yes, as you might have figured out by now, adult romance is a category for those with a naughty side, in other words, erotica.
Anyway, like I said before, I hope you enjoy my romance book review blog and find my reviews helpful!
